This 24-minute video demonstrates the use of two VP macros—SuperProfile and ActivityDiversityScatter3D—used to create useful visuals. The SuperProfile macro outputs multiple fields from a dataset into an Excel table for comparison, e.g. listing the “top 3” US research organizations along with their top research subjects and top researchers. TheActivityDiversity macro creates a scattergram of an organization’s quantity of activity (e.g. # patents) in relation to breadth of activity (e.g. different patent classes).
